CPI's instrumentation amplifiers (high-power RF and microwave amplifiers) for electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) high-intensity radiated field (HIRF) testing, military testing, electronic warfare simulation and scientific applications are based on switched-mode power supply technology.

CPI continues to innovate with its range of ultra-high power HIRF amplifiers that achieve the highest CW and Pulsed output power. Customers using CPI amplifiers have generated output power of 14,000 V/m, complying with the latest demanding RTCA/DO-160 requirements. Both TWT and solid-state instrumentation amplifier options are available.
