Communications & Power Industries (CPI), headquartered in Palo Alto, California, is a global manufacturer of electronic components and subsystems focused primarily on communications and defense markets. The company has manufacturing locations in the United States, Canada, Europe and Asia, and sales, service and engineering offices around the world.

We are looking for a Sales Operations Specialist to join our marketing department. The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for customer service, Returned Material Authorization (RMA) management and some logistics activities for the Electron Device Business of CPI.

Responsibilities include:
  • Processing orders from customers in the ERP system based on input from customers and sales managers
  • Track order status from beginning to end, communication with sales and customers, issuing RMA's and issuing quotes for repairing out of warranty items
  • Provide shipment tracking - upon request
  • Create customs paperwork for international shipments
  • Understanding of customs/duties/ITAR regulations
  • Working with external freight forwarders
  • Utilizing ERP and CRM system
  • Close cooperation with various internal departments and external sales offices
  • Provide support services across EDB locations
  • Bachelor's degree in business or related discipline and five years or more of relevant experience
  • Highly proficient in Word, Excel, & JD Edwards or another Oracle based ERP
  • Experience in Microsoft Dynamics or equivalent CRM
  • Knowledge of sales operations and logistics
  • Excellent client relationship management
  • Ability to prioritize and strong attention to detail
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
