Description
Determine method and perform simple to complex mechanical measurement inspection tasks to ensure compliance with engineering drawing specifications including ASME Y14.5, MIL-specs, commercial standards, certificates of conformance, etc. Must have the ability to clearly record (legible handwriting) and document all inspection results and complete computer transactions as appropriate. Must have good communication skills and be able to work in a team environment under minimum supervision.
Requirements
  • Must have a minimum of a High School Diploma or G.E.D. certificate.
  • Experience with mechanical measurement inspections.
  • Proficient in the reading and interpretation of engineering drawings utilizing ASME Y14.5 standards.
  • Experience with quality/inspection equipment and gages such as digital calipers, Micro-Hite height gage, optical comparator, go/no-go thread gages, CMM, toolmaker's microscope, etc.
  • Must be a US Person (under ITAR rules) to be eligible for this position.
