Primary Responsibilities
• Assist with Manufacturing Engineering support for the assembly and test of Medical Products, with a focus on the activities below.
• Complete and document Investigation, Root Cause, and Corrective Action for product failures in production (NCR) and in the field (Customer Complaints).
• Coordinate with suppliers for return of defective material (NCMR) for their Investigation, Root Cause, and Corrective Action.
• Work in CPI’s PLM system (RitePro) to create and maintain Items, Documents, BOM structures, Approved Manufacturers Lists, and Engineering Change Requests.
• Investigate potential additions to the AML for components and propose alternates. Coordinate testing and validation for these potential alternates per validation plan.
• Work closely with Manufacturing Engineers on the above activities, escalate as required.
Position Requirements
• Community College Graduate (3 yr Electronics or Mechanical Technologist Program) or equivalent.
• Several years industry experience, ideally in electronics assembly and test.
• Enthusiastic, detail oriented, and task focused. Able to work with minimal supervision.
• Excellent problem solving, organizational, and communication skills.
