Primary Responsibilities
• Install electrical services throughout the CPI facility from bus bars to load.
• Repair electrical equipment such as furnaces, thermal chambers, test bays.
• Maintain/install facilities services: Intranet, Phones, Lighting, Security, Cameras, etc.
• Relocate & install production/ & office equipment.
Position Requirements
• “Safety first” work attitude. Committed to follow all applicable CPI procedures, PPE requirements & safe trade practices.
• Licensed electrician with certificate of qualification 309A (construction electrician) or 442A (industrial electrician).
• Completed apprenticeship program.
• 3-5 years’ experience in construction and maintenance of industrial equipment.
• Applied knowledge of construction methods and electrical safety code.
• Able to read electrical schematics for hydro services, equipment power & controls.
• Able to troubleshoot using electrical schematics, electrical test instruments & good trade practices.
• Controls knowledge (PLC, Temperature/level controls, instrumentation, etc).
• Electronic knowledge or training would be an asset.
