Description

Requirements
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent.

Representative Tasks and Duties:
•Assembles component parts, sub-assemblies, or completed units, including electronic, electro-mechanical, mechanical, and structural assembly for products and instruments
•Performs multiple tasks on an assigned team, project, or functional area
•Performs quality assurance and reliability testing following established methods and procedures
•Coordinates, plans, and expedites the flow of material, parts, and assemblies
•Provides production scheduling and control as needed
•Provides direction and training to less experienced employees
•Delegates work to less experienced employees and oversees results
•Participates in programs or functional team projects developing process improvement methods, solutions,and procedures to enhance program quality, cost, and scheduling
•Interfaces with employees and management across the department and frequently with employees andmanagers outside the department
•Works well under minimal supervision; work may be done without established procedures
