Sr Prod Painting Assoc 1

Monday - Thursday 10 hour shift's with Friday's off.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities of the Job

•   Sprays surfaces of machines, manufactured products, or working area with protective or decorative material such as paint, enamel, glaze, gel-coat, or lacquer
•   Prepares surfaces appropriately prior to painting
•   Conducts daily cleanup of equipment and work area to ensure proper work area painting environment requirements
•   Assists in the procurement of necessary supplies and materials
•   Monitors and verifies quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures
•   Delegates work to less experienced employees
•   Interacts with employees and managers across the company
•   General supervision and instructions given for routine work, and detailed instructions given for new activities or special assignments
Minimally Required Skills
•   Clear knowledge and understanding of paint specifications for required finishes
•   Clear knowledge of dry booth painting
•   Clear knowledge of proper surface preparation prior to painting
•   Clear knowledge of painting equipment used
•   Clear interpersonal skills to cooperate and work effectively with others
•   Ability to understand drawings, work orders and BOMs
•   Ability to evaluate work conditions and quality of work produced
•   Ability to work with multiple coating systems
•   Leadership skills
•   Ability to work independently
