Job Title
Quality Inspector

Primary Duties and Responsibilities of the Job

•   Inspects parts and materials to determine compliance to specified requirements
•   Performs product inspection of circuit boards and electronic components
•   Performs real time defect evaluation
•   Prepares QA documentation
•   Verifies corrective action implementation
•   Performs ESD and 6‘s audits
•   Verifies implementation of rework to IPC standards
•   Generates and/or verifies traceability information
•   Interfaces with coworkers and internal customers

Minimally Required Skills

•   Clear knowledge of basic electrical, electronic components and mechanical technology
•   Clear knowledge of ESD control
•   Clear knowledge of workmanship IPC standards
•   Clear knowledge of electronic drawing interpretation
•   General knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerance
•   General knowledge of SPC statistics and process control techniques
•   Skilled in using PC applications (Microsoft Word, Excel)
•   Skilled in use of basic mechanical measurement tools
•   Interpersonal skills

Minimum job requirements:

•   Associates degree in Electronics, Computer Science, and Mechanical Engineering
•   2 years of directly related experience
