Structural Composites

CPI Radant's innovative engineered solutions achieve high reliability and performance for complex structures used in aircraft, marine and other applications. Advanced materials are used with processing techniques that include autoclave and compression molding to provide parts with optimal resin content ratios and compaction for superior strength/thickness performance.

Complete metal working facilities include welding, CNC and conventional machining to support tool making and finish work for composites. CPI Radant designs and makes its own composite molds to best match thermal properties for better control of cure profiles. This avoids improper thermal gradients during cure which could create internal stresses or otherwise compromise the structural integrity of the resulting part.

Structure types:
  • Submersible housings
  • Structural frames and shells
  • Interior and exterior panels
  • Engine inlets ( with anti-icing capability)
