Description
Working independently and with others in the R&D group to develop and execute detailed test plans for use in medical X-Ray applications. Some project leadership capabilities would be beneficial.
- Reports to the PEO Development Engineering Manager
- Working with Software and Hardware Engineers to write comprehensive verification plans based on a requirement specification, for desktop applications
- Execute verification plans and implement the V&V Summary sign-off
- Assist in the development of Automated Software Tests
- Testing on multiple platforms
- Some interface with customers and users may be required
Requirements
- Very adept with MS Office tools
- Excellent written and oral communicator
- A solid working knowledge of Linux and Windows environments
- Familiarity with automated testing procedures
- Have demonstrated knowledge of writing software scripts
- Familiar with developing test cases
- Technical degree (College or University)
- Knowledge of electronic hardware, circuits and schematics
- Working knowledge of Oscilloscopes, Function Generators, etc
- 3+ years experience performing in a software quality function
- Knowledge of Automated software packages (ie: TestPartner)
- Programming experience with C and C++ would be a definite asset
- Previous work on medical applications would be beneficial
- Familiar with MS-Access and SQL database applications
- Willingness to be cross trained on embedded systems
