Description
This is a Contract position for approx 3-6 months
- Development and maintenance of schematics and layouts for low, medium and high density printed wiring boards with any of the following characteristics:
- Work closely with Design Engineers but also able to work independently within the development process and design qualification
- Coordinate with Test Technicians and Manufacturing Engineers

Requirements
- Electronics Technologist (3 year Electronics Technologist Program) or Electronics Engineer with a Degree in Electrical / Electronics Engineering who is now dedicated to PWB design
- Experienced with Schematic and PWB layout tools (DxDesigner, PADS Layout, PADS Router and also OrCAD schematic, OrCAD Layout).
- Results oriented, detail focused team player and an effective communicator who is able to work with minimal supervision
- 3-5 years experience in related field
- Good knowledge of IPC standards for PWB design, fabrication and assembly and a detailed understanding of schematic design rules, DFM and DFT practices
- Strong understanding of electronics with working knowledge of SMT components including BGAs.
- Understanding of CAM tools for Gerber manipulation.
- Familiarity with High Voltage (>10kV) board designs is valuable
