Description
- In conjunction with the design engineer, and with minimal engineering inputs, prepare new product manuals.
- Must maintain product manuals in accordance with ECO changes and product updates, with minimal engineering input.
- Draw technical illustrations in manuals.
- Coordinating translations of manuals into various languages.
- Assist in interdepartmental training, and establishing and enforcing standards that will result in improved quality and efficiency.
Assist in writing of X-ray product manuals and related tasks:
Requirements
- Community College Graduate (2-3 year Electronics Technician Program)or equivalent.
- Solid understanding of X-ray generator theory.
- Familiarity with business systems (i.e. ROI’s Manage 2000 system) a requirement.
- Excellent PC skills with MS Word proficiency is required.
- CorelDRAW proficiency required (required for technical illustrations).
- Previous technical writing experience strongly desired. Must be fluent in written English.
- Motivated self starter.
- Work well in a team environment.
- Knowledge of industry “Best Practices”.
