Description
- Perform data analysis
- Write reports/procedures
- Manage various projects assigned to schedule
- Maintain and improve QMS
- Member of product/project teams
- Coordination of CSI and GSI as required
- Provide mentorship and coaching to other QA team members
- Interface with suppliers on quality issues
- Issue certificates of compliance
- Perform internal and supplier audits
- Maintain QA administrated systems such as SCAR, supplier files, etc.
- Participate in new product program reviews and introductions
Requirements
- In-depth knowledge of ISO9001: 2008, ISO 13485:2003 and FDA QSR
- Working knowledge of FMEA, SPC, Lean Manufacturing
- Knowledge of Six Sigma and TQM an asset
- MS Office programs
- Ability to create and manipulate Access databases an asset
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
- Team player, cooperative, negotiation abilities
- Analyze and resolve work problems through own initiative
- Professional engineer or eligible for designation
- 5 + years engineering experience in an electronics manufacturing environment preferred, applicants with less experience will be considered
- 1 + years experience in a quality assurance function or equivalent training/professional designation
