CPI Malibu, a division of Communications & Power Industries (CPI), is an advanced antenna solutions provider for critical defense, aerospace and communications applications worldwide. CPI Malibu is a recognized leader in the Data Link and communications industry, and has built an excellent reputation, both domestically and internationally. We have unique capabilities and experience in design, analysis, and manufacture of telemetry, communications, electronic warfare, and radar antenna systems. Worldwide installation, logistics, and repair support are performed by our in-house service organization with assistance from local CPI offices.

CPI Malibu takes an analytical approach to design and manufacture through the use of CAD, CAE, large-scale graphics and computer-controlled machining. Two anechoic chambers (including a compact range) and a well-equipped, small volume production machine shop support our capabilities and enable CPI Malibu to react quickly to customer’s requests. We currently seeking an experienced Program Manager to direct and coordinate program schedules, budgets, reporting and overall success in reaching a profitable conclusion while communicating concise and accurate information to both internal and external customers relating to their programs.

Duties and Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
•   Responsible for the overall profitable conclusion of assigned programs
•   Manage scheduling, budget, customer relations and overall success of the program.
•   Conduct risk assessment and their corresponding management strategies
•   Plan and set program goals and milestones using essential tools such as Microsoft Project.
•   Clearly define requirements and establish targets accordingly
•   Define resources and the schedule for the implementation of the program
•   Detect and solve program issues effectively via a consensus building approach using strong leadership and communications skills
•   Supervise the program team and manage conflicts
•   Perform team assessment and present updates on a weekly basis
•   Recognize areas for internal improvement and developing plans for implementation
•   Participate in the proposal process

Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess
•   A minimum of 10 years’ experience as a Program Manager in the defense/aerospace markets, working with design programs
•   Understanding of RF or Mechanical Engineering
•   Excellent understanding of project management with the ability to manage a complex team of various disciplines through PDR, CDR and TRR phases.
•   Must have proven leadership skills, be a strategic thinker, motivator, and solutions driver.
•   Customer centric with ability to manage out-of-scope issues and responsible for P/L.
•   Must possess excellent organization, presentation and customer service skills with the ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial atmosphere.
•   PMP/PMI certified (Ideal)
•   Strong MS Project capabilities
•   Excellent communication skills a must: written and verbal
