We have unique capabilities and experience in design, analysis, and manufacture of telemetry, communications, electronic warfare, and radar antenna systems. Worldwide installation, logistics, and repair support are performed by our in-house service organization with assistance from local CPI offices.

CPI Malibu takes an analytical approach to design and manufacture through the use of CAD, CAE, large-scale graphics and computer-controlled machining. Two anechoic chambers (including a compact range) and a well-equipped, small volume production machine shop support our capabilities and enable CPI Malibu to react quickly to customer’s requests. We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Assembler to support manual assembly of antenna systems, subassemblies, gearboxes, bearings, circuit boards, other related electronic or communication equipment, electro-mechanical components, cabling connectors, wire harnessing, routing, pulling and cable assembly to assembly antennas, RF assemblies, and telemetry systems. Will use an array of hand and power tools.

DUTIES AND REPONSIBILTIES:
•   Will assemble, inspect, and package a variety of antenna systems and components.
•   May assemble components using mechanical aids such as presses and jigs.
•   Will follow MEI’s, job directions, engineering drawings to set up work areas and assemblies.
•   Will use hand and power tools as needed.
•   Will record and document work orders and reconcile work related reports as needed.
•   May assist with other duties as assigned.
•   May partner with lower lever assemblers to mentor, train and direct work as assigned.
•   May disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions.
•   Will work with solvents and solutions to include epoxies, paint, glue, thinners and such.
•   Other duties as assigned.

Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
•   3 year’s work experience.
•   Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
•   Basic understanding of assembly drawings and blue print reading.
•   Knowledge of, ESD practices and SDS.
•   Attention to detail and complete quality product.
•   Basic computer skills
•   Flexible, team attitude, quick learner and self-motivated
