We have unique capabilities and experience in design, analysis, and manufacture of telemetry, communications, electronic warfare, and radar antenna systems. Worldwide installation, logistics, and repair support are performed by our in-house service organization with assistance from local CPI offices.

CPI Malibu takes an analytical approach to design and manufacture through the use of CAD, CAE, large-scale graphics and computer-controlled machining. Two anechoic chambers (including a compact range) and a well-equipped, small volume production machine shop support our capabilities and enable CPI Malibu to react quickly to customer’s requests. We are currently seeking an experienced Electronic Assemblers to assemble electrical connectors and other electronic components of radar antenna or telemetry systems. Assemble or modify electromechanical equipment or devices, such as servomechanisms, gyros, dynamometers, magnetic drums, tape drives, brakes, control linkage, actuators, and appliances.

•   Using specifications, wires circuit boards, assembles wire harnesses and cables, and encases wiring in sleeving and/or tubing.
•   Cleans and marks finished components.
•   Conducts tests on connectors and wire assemblies to ensure
good working order.
•   Reports defective materials or questionable materials to
•   Assemble parts or units, and position, align, and fasten
units to assemblies, subassemblies, or frames, using hand
tools and power tools.
•   Connect cables, tubes, and wiring, according to specifications.
•   Disassemble units to replace parts or to crate them for shipping.
•   Inspect, test, and adjust completed units to ensure that units meet specifications, tolerances, and customer order requirements.
•   Measure parts to determine tolerances, using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and verniers.
•   Position, align, and adjust parts for proper fit and assembly.
•   Read blueprints and specifications to determine component parts and assembly sequences of electromechanical units.
•   Perform other duties as assigned.

•   Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a high school education or vocational trade school program in electrical assembly.
•   3 years work experience as electronic component assembler
•   IPC certified, a plus
•   Ability to read specifications, notes, wiring diagrams, and blue prints
•   Basic computer skills
•   Ability to use a variety of hand tools, including a soldering iron, wire strippers, plastic cutters and drills.
•   Knowledge of, ESD practices and SDS.
•   Excellent verbal and written commuinication skills
